Publisher Development Representative

Job Description:

Advertising.com is looking for a highly motivated Publisher Development Representative with 3-5 years of experience in publisher sales, strategic partnerships and relationship building. In this role, you’ll leverage your industry contacts to cultivate partnerships with publishers specifically for Underdog Media’s suite of publisher ad products. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of being detail oriented, demonstrates excellent communication skills, and is excited about working in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of and experience in programmatic advertising is required. Those who have existing relationships with digital publishers will be of the highest level of interest and likely have the shortest ramp time once hired for the position. This role reports to the VP of Publisher Development. This is a remote position.

Responsibilities:

  • Build new partnerships: Source, identify and build strategic partnerships focusing on revenue growth.
  • Identify new business opportunities: Think outside the box; analyze competitor strategies, and identify untapped revenue opportunities.
  • Drive Sales Strategies: Maintain a hunter mentality; be a self-motivated deal closer at scale.
  • Represent the company at industry events: Attend conferences and networking events to promote monetization products, build new relationships, and close deals.
  • Manage the sales pipeline: Use CRM software like HubSpot to track leads, ensure consistent follow-ups, deal closures and organize workflows.
  • Hunter mentality: Self starter, individual contributor.

Required Experience and Qualifications:

  • Ability to work remotely

  • Ability to articulate a strong understanding of advertising campaign strategies
  • Masterful presentation and negotiation skills, both in-person and over the phone
