We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with 6-8 years of relevant experience in the Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance domain, with a strong focus on the USA insurance market. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of insurance business processes, particularly in underwriting, claims management, policy servicing, and related operations, along with hands-on experience in delivering business analysis for insurance technology initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

· Work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into clear functional and technical specifications.

· Analyze and document insurance business processes, workflows, and system functionalities, specifically within the USA P&C insurance market.

· Lead and facilitate requirement-gathering workshops, stakeholder interviews, and user story development sessions.

· Conduct impact analysis, feasibility studies, and gap analysis for existing systems and proposed solutions.

· Ensure that system enhancements and new implementations align with business goals and comply with USA insurance regulatory and compliance standards.

· Collaborate with testing teams to define test strategies, review test cases, and validate system functionality against business requirements.

· Support business users with system training, knowledge transfer sessions, and functional documentation.

· Provide insurance domain expertise across underwriting, claims processing, policy servicing, and customer operations.

Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 6-8 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the Property and Casualty insurance domain, specifically within the USA market.
  • Strong understanding of insurance business workflows, particularly in underwriting, claims management, policy servicing, and operational processes in the USA P&C sector.
  • Demonstrated experience leading business analysis efforts for large-scale insurance system implementations or process improvement initiatives.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies, collaborating in multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in preparing Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Specification Documents (FSD), and detailed user stories.
  • Experience working with API integrations, insurance system implementations, and data migrations is a plus.
