As we continue to deliver cutting-edge technology and new ideas, we are looking for a Research Scientist to join our organisation to expand the efficacy test capability of beauty active ingredient and align with the 3-year expansion strategy of efficacy test in CKL.

Reporting into the Research and Technology Manager of our R&T, you will be responsible for testing the active ingredient about human skin efficacy.

• Master’s degree or higher in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or a related field
• Hands-on experience in laboratory techniques such as Western blot, ELISA, qPCR, FACS, LC, GC
• Strong knowledge of cell culture and efficacy evaluation methods
• Proven ability to design and set up experiments independently
• Experience in analyzing experimental results and generating meaningful insights
• Strong competency in planning and executing experiments, including lab set-up and result interpretation
• Ability to conduct efficacy evaluation and derive actionable conclusions
• Excellent documentation and reporting skills
• Minimum 8 years of experience in skin efficacy evaluation or related fields
• Experience in setting up and executing new evaluation methods for cosmetic efficacy
• Experience in preparing documentation for regulatory or approval purposes

What You’ll Be Doing

• Conduct in vitro experiments for skin efficacy evaluation
• Perform cell-based assays to evaluate functions such as whitening, anti-wrinkle, and anti-hair loss
• Set up experimental systems including cell culture and assay conditions
• Identify and validate active ingredients
• Analyze experimental results and generate reports and marketing data
• Evaluate functional cosmetics and pharmaceutical-related efficacy
• Prepare documentation related to regulatory submissions and approvals

This position will base in Bundang‑gu, Seongnam‑si, Gyeonggi‑do.
