The position
As a (bio)statistician, you will be primarily responsible for designing clinical trials, drafting or reviewing the statistical analysis sections of protocols, writing statistical analysis plans, conducting analyses, and reporting study results, including co-authoring scientific articles. In addition, you provide statistical advice to healthcare professionals and researchers and offer statistical support for various medical-related studies. You are part of a team of five statisticians with diverse backgrounds and expertise.

The position is based on 36 hours per week. The salary will be in FWG 60 (as per the collective labor agreement ‘cao Algemene Ziekenhuizen’) depending on education and previous experience. In addition, you will receive 8,33% holiday pay and 8,33% end-of-year bonus.

Our institute, based in Utrecht brings together the best possible care and scientific research, creating a unique interdisciplinary institute for pediatric oncology in Europe.
The Trial and Data Center (TDC)
In the Trial and Data Center (TDC), national and international phase I-IV studies are developed and supported by a multidisciplinary team of data managers, trial managers, statisticians, research nurses and members of the medical staff. The portfolio includes both investigator-initiated research and pharmaceutical industry-initiated research. The TDC collaborates with many international consortia, including, for example, the Innovative Therapies for Children with Cancer (ITCC) Consortium.
