HEAD OF FINANCE
A Head of Finance is sought to join the finance team of an international organization operating in the manufacturing sector. The role will be responsible for all finance, accounting, controlling, treasury, and financial performance management processes of the plant. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the sustainability of economic performance, managing financial and legal compliance, controlling risks, and providing strategic support to senior management.
Qualifications
- Graduate of a relevant university degree
- Minimum 10 years of experience in finance
- Minimum 4 years of managerial experience
- Experience in manufacturing/factory operations
- Advanced level of English
- Strong knowledge of general accounting, management accounting, and industrial accounting
- Experience in industrial cost control
- Knowledge of CDMO business models, pricing, and profitability management
- Good command of IFRS and local accounting standards
- Proficient in SAP, SAGE X3, or similar ERP systems, and BI tools
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical thinking ability, with a results and performance-oriented mindset
- Valid Class B driving license
- Military service completed for male candidates
- Residing in the Tekirdağ region or willing to relocate
Responsibilities and Duties of the Position
Financial Management and Accounting
- Ensure the accuracy of financial statements, balance sheets, profit and loss statements (P&L), and monthly reporting
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, Local GAAP, and Group reporting requirements
- Manage general accounting, management accounting, and industrial accounting processes
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes and budgeting activities
Controlling and Industrial Performance Management
- Manage industrial controlling processes (OEE, scrap rates, material costs, product costing, productivity, etc.)
- Conduct profitability analyses of customer contracts and products (including CDMO, API, and formulation processes)
- Ensure optimization of production costs, CAPEX, OPEX, and overhead expenses
- Develop and monitor budgeting, forecasting, and mid-term planning (S&OP) processes
Cash Management and Financing
- Manage cash flow, treasury, and working capital processes
- Establish financing structures required for investment and growth projects
- Manage relationships with banks and financial business partners
Strategic Support and Business Partnership
- Provide strategic support to the Site Director / General Manager in decision-making processes
- Contribute to the development of pricing, margin, and invoicing models for CDMO contracts
- Conduct risk and opportunity analyses related to new customer projects
Management and Organization
- Manage finance, controlling, accounting, and when required, legal, procurement, and information technology teams
- Ensure the establishment and continuous improvement of processes and system infrastructures (ERP, BI, costing tools, etc.)
- Coordinate internal audits, external audits, tax inspections, and customer financial reviews
- Establish and maintain risk control and compliance mechanisms
