Senior Channel Merchandising Specialist

As part of our exciting growth journey in Türkiye, we are now looking for a passionate Senior Channel Merchandising Specialist to join our dynamic, collaborative, and close-knit team based in Istanbul.

As Senior Channel Merchandising Specialist, you will be responsible for leading inventory and merchandising activities across all channels, ensuring optimal stock availability and maximizing commercial opportunities. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will drive buying, allocation, and inventory strategies while providing data-driven insights to support business performance and deliver a premium consumer experience aligned with ASICS’ global standards.

Responsibilities

  • Manage inventory performance across all sales channels, including Wholesale, E-commerce and Factory Outlet,.
  • Own replenishment and stock allocation processes to maximize sales opportunities and maintain healthy stock levels.
  • Monitor sell-through, stock cover, availability, and inventory productivity KPIs.
  • Develop and execute seasonal buying plans for the e-com channel.
  • Analyze sales performance and market trends to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Demand Planning, Finance, and Global Merchandising teams.
  • Drive stock balancing initiatives between channels to improve inventory efficiency.
  • Support markdown, promotion, and clearance strategies through inventory analysis.
  • Prepare regular business performance reports and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Participate in seasonal planning and forecasting processes.

Requirements

  • Experience in sportswear, fashion, footwear, or retail industries.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 4-6 years of experience in Merchandising, Buying, Planning, Inventory Management, or a similar commercial function.
  • Strong analytical mindset with advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience working in buying or related departments.
  • Experience working in a multi-channel retail environment.
  • Knowledge of merchandise planning and allocation processes.
  • Ability to translate data into commercial actions and recommendations.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Expert level excel & power point skills.
  • Fluent in English.
