Role: Publisher Sales Director
Salary: $175k - $200k + commission
Location: NYC, Remote
We’re working with a profitable, EMEA-founded creative technology business that helps major publishers drive stronger digital advertising revenue through high-impact creative formats, rich media executions, and campaign activation technology.
The company is already established in Europe and is now building its North American business. This will be the first commercial hire in the US, so we’re looking for someone who can operate as a true market builder: opening doors, winning publisher relationships, shaping the proposition, and laying the foundations for a scalable US operation.
This is a great opportunity for someone with strong publisher-facing sales experience who understands how premium publishers sell direct to brands, how creative solutions and ad ops teams work, and how high-impact formats fit into a publisher’s commercial strategy.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll own North American commercial growth from the ground up, targeting large publishers with significant direct-sold advertising businesses and a need for more impactful creative technology.
You’ll be responsible for building pipeline, pitching and closing new publisher partnerships, managing onboarding with support from the EMEA team, and developing long-term client relationships that feel more like strategic partnerships than supplier relationships.
As the US business grows, you’ll also play a key role in shaping commercial strategy, feeding market insight into product development, managing revenue forecasting, and eventually building out the US team.
We’re looking for someone with
Strong experience selling into publishers, ideally across digital advertising, creative technology, rich media, high-impact formats, adtech, or publisher monetisation.
You’ll need to be comfortable owning the full sales cycle, from prospecting and pitching through to negotiation, onboarding, and long-term account growth. This role will suit someone entrepreneurial, credible with senior publisher stakeholders, and excited by the opportunity to build something rather than simply inherit an existing patch.
Experience working with publisher sales, creative solutions, ad ops, or programmatic teams would be highly relevant.
