We are seeking a motivated Research Assistant to support a joint Oxford Brookes / University of Oxford project laying the foundations for an Age-Friendly Oxford.

The role involves assisting with a rapid evidence review, engaging with community organisations and older residents across the city, capturing lived-experience insights, supporting participatory workshops, and contributing to qualitative analysis and project outputs. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about ageing, inclusion, and community-engaged research. The role requires flexibility, with more activity in early and late stages of the project.

You should have:

  • Postgraduate or Postdoctoral qualification or studying for PhD
  • Experience of data collection from multiple sources
  • Experience of rapid/scoping reviews
  • Experience of qualitative research
  • Experience of writing up and disseminating research findings
