About the Opportunity

A growing healthcare consulting and strategy organization is seeking a Senior Director, Market Analytics to lead high-impact analytical engagements supporting pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and life sciences clients. This role combines advanced quantitative analysis, strategic thinking, client leadership, and team development.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned healthcare analytics professional who can transform complex healthcare data into actionable business insights, guide strategic decision-making, and lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced consulting environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead complex healthcare analytics projects focused on market access, reimbursement, utilization trends, patient pathways, and healthcare market dynamics.
  • Analyze and interpret large healthcare datasets, including claims, real-world data, survey data, and other healthcare information sources.
  • Develop strategic recommendations by integrating quantitative findings with industry, payer, and policy insights.
  • Oversee project execution, including scope management, resource allocation, quality assurance, timelines, and client deliverables.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior client stakeholders through executive-ready reports, presentations, and strategic discussions.
  • Build and maintain analytical tools, models, and internal data assets that improve efficiency and support future engagements.
  • Lead and mentor analysts and consultants, fostering technical development and professional growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions across market access, reimbursement, policy, and commercialization initiatives.
  • Support business development efforts through proposal development, project scoping, solution design, and client presentations.

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in a quantitative, healthcare, public health, economics, statistics, epidemiology, or related field.
  • Significant experience in healthcare consulting, pharmaceutical analytics, market access, payer strategy, HEOR, real-world evidence, or a related discipline.
  • Strong understanding of the U.S. healthcare landscape, including payer systems, reimbursement dynamics, and healthcare policy considerations.
  • Experience working with large healthcare datasets and translating analytical findings into business and strategic recommendations.
  • Demonstrated expertise with analytical and reporting tools, including advanced Excel and one or more programming languages such as SQL, SAS, R, or Python.
  • Proven ability to lead multiple complex projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and client service.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience managing client relationships and contributing to business growth initiatives.
