Due to continued growth and expansion, we are hiring for our client, a well-established electrical engineering and automation business based in Co. Tyrone, for an Site Electrical Lead. This job offers the opportunity to work with a specialist team delivering high-quality electrical control panel design, manufacture, installation and commissioning services across a range of industrial projects. The successful Site Electrical Lead will join a business that is entering an exciting growth phase, with increasing demand for its expertise in control systems and industrial automation. This role will suit an experienced Industrial / Installation Electrician who enjoys site-based work, problem-solving and being part of a close-knit, forward-thinking engineering team.

The Role:

As the Site Lead, you will:

Carry out electrical installation works on industrial sites

Wire and connect electrical control panels and associated equipment

Read and interpret electrical schematics and layout drawings

Assist with testing, fault-finding and commissioning of control systems

Ensure all work is completed to current electrical standards and health & safety regulations

This Site Electrical Lead role will involve a mix of workshop and on-site work, primarily across NI and ROI.

The Person:

To be successful in this Industrial Electrician (Site Lead) job, you will have:

Time-served Electrician / NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent)

  • Time-served Electrician / NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent)

Experience in industrial electrical installations

  • Experience in industrial electrical installations

Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics

  • Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics

Experience with control panels or automation systems (highly desirable)

Strong fault-finding skills
