Key Responsibilities:
- Analyzing and interpreting tax-related matters pertaining to the Company’s operations and providing advisory support to relevant business units,
- Managing end-to-end investment incentive processes, including application, monitoring, and reporting, and ensuring coordination with relevant authorities,
- Evaluating and managing corporate actions such as capital increases, restructuring, technical insolvency, and thin capitalization from a tax perspective,
- Conducting tax optimization analyses for donations and sponsorships in compliance with applicable legislation,
- Performing tax due diligence, structuring, and advisory services within merger and acquisition (M&A) transactions,
- Planning, executing, and reporting corporate merger and demerger processes in compliance with tax regulations,
- Managing Pillar Two (Global Minimum Tax) processes and Country-by-Country Reporting (CbCR) including analysis and reporting.
- Reviewing commercial contracts from a tax perspective, conducting risk assessments, and providing recommendations,
- Monitoring and managing tax litigation processes in coordination with legal teams and ensuring proper reporting,
- Preparing for tax audits, managing communications with tax authorities, and ensuring effective handling of audit processes,
- Supervising and coordinating tax compliance processes of overseas subsidiaries and providing related advisory support,
- Monitoring developments in local and international tax legislation and regularly informing senior management,
- Managing tax refund processes (including VAT, CIT refunds), including application and follow-up procedures,
- Reviewing routine foreign supplier invoices from a tax compliance perspective and performing necessary controls,
- Preparing and maintaining transfer pricing documentation, including Transfer Pricing (TP) reports.
Qualifications:
- Responsible, with strong financial analysis and reporting capabilities,
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, or related fields,
- SMMM certification or internship is an asset,
- Fluent in English (both written and verbal),
- 3–5 years of professional experience (energy sector experience is an asset),
- Proficiency in MS Office programs,
- No restrictions on travel,
- Strong communication skills.
