Description

General Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Industrial or a related field,
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in mass production assembly lines (preferably in the automotive industry),
  • Hands-on experience in line setup/commissioning, and process improvement projects,
  • Advanced knowledge of time study, work measurement, and line balancing,
  • Strong knowledge of problem-solving methodologies (8D, 5 Why, Root Cause Analysis, etc.),
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications (especially Excel and PowerPoint),
  • Experience with SAP systems is preferred,
  • Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings,
  • Strong analytical thinking, result-oriented mindset, and leadership skills,
  • Ability to adapt to Honda Türkiye production methodologies and fully comply with workplace rules,
  • Good command of English (both written and spoken).

Job Description

  • Manage assembly lines end-to-end, including performance monitoring and continuous improvement,
  • Develop and implement strategic projects to increase assembly line efficiency,
  • Perform line balancing, capacity planning, and bottleneck management,
  • Lead new line installations, line modifications, and investment projects,
  • Coordinate new product introduction (NPI) activities,
  • Analyze and resolve production quality issues using root cause analysis and follow up corrective actions,
  • Prepare and update standard work instructions, process documentation, operation page standard (OPS) and safety risk pages,
  • Implement and promote lean manufacturing practices (Kaizen, 5S, etc.) on the assembly lines,
  • Collaborate closely with quality, maintenance, planning, logistics, and other production teams,
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to assembly line team leaders, group leaders and operators.
