About The Role

As Business Lead, Product Optimisation, you support the day-to-day delivery of key initiatives across Consumer Insurance. Acting as a trusted second-in-charge, you work closely with Product Owners, squads, and leaders to keep delivery on track. You bring a strong delivery mindset, balance priorities across stakeholders, and lift team capability through coaching. This role contributes to Consumer Insurance system and process enhancements that improve outcomes for customers and the business.

What You’ll Do

  • Support Product Owners with planning, prioritisation, and delivery to meet agreed outcomes across multiple initiatives.
  • Coordinate delivery plans, manage dependencies, and address risks to maintain steady progress.
  • Provide hands-on support to squads by removing blockers and escalating issues when needed.
  • Guide system enhancements to ensure technical assets meet business needs and performance expectations.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across business, technology, and risk functions.
  • Coach and mentor team members to strengthen delivery capability and ways of working.

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience in delivery roles within insurance or financial services, working across multiple stakeholders.
  • Practical knowledge of Agile ways of working and supporting Product Owners or similar roles.
  • Confidence managing delivery plans, risks, and governance in complex environments.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including working with senior leaders.
  • A coaching mindset, with experience lifting team capability and confidence.
