Premiere Global Financial Services Company based in the East Coast is looking for a Vice President of External Reporting and Technical Accounting.
Major responsibilities include:
- Oversee the preparation of quarterly and annual SEC filings.
- Perform research and provide guidance on complex technical accounting issues.
- Lead process improvements and oversee automation initiatives.
- Will be the key point on contact with external stakeholders, legal counsel, and external auditors.
- Provide financial guidance to business partners and work closely with the Chief Accounting Officer, CFO and CIO
- Develop and mentor a high-performing external reporting and technical accounting team.
Requirements:
- 10 plus years public/private experience, CPA required.
- Must have strong SEC, GAAP, Accounting Policy, and SOX experience.
- Currently working with a publicly held company, Financial Services bkgrd preferred.
- Strong communication, leadership, and ability to create a very positive and productive working culture.
- Ability to be strategic but willing to roll up the sleeves.
- Ability to present and effectively articulate complex issues to executive management.
Position is remote and looking to pay low, mid 200’s plus a targeted annual bonus of 40% plus 20% equity.
The CAO is great and they're looking for someone that can enhance the Corp. culture.
