Head of Financial Control & Treasury | Melbourne | Global Fintech

We're looking for a senior finance leader to take ownership of financial integrity, regulatory compliance and treasury operations across a dynamic, fast-growing global fintech business.

This is a high-impact role that goes well beyond the basics. You'll lead end-to-end financial control and reporting across multiple jurisdictions, oversee treasury and liquidity management, and drive meaningful finance transformation — embedding automation and AI-enabled capabilities into a forward-looking finance function.

The role covers:

• Global financial reporting, statutory accounts and regulatory compliance
• Treasury, liquidity and capital management
• Systems optimisation and AI adoption
• Leadership of a team of approximately seven, with 2–3 direct reports
• Close partnership with Risk, Compliance and senior stakeholders globally

You'll bring:

• CA/CPA qualification with strong IFRS expertise
• 7+ years in senior financial control roles within regulated environments, ideally financial services
• Experience across multiple regulatory jurisdictions
• A track record of finance transformation and automation
• Strategic thinking balanced with operational rigour
