To provide an exceptional level of service to prospective SME customers relating to all Reckon products and meet sales targets. You will assist customers in understanding our products and identify solutions to fit their needs, generating sales and renewals, whilst continuing to achieve customer satisfaction levels
Responsibilities
- Educate customers on the Reckon product range and recommend tailored solutions based on their business needs.
- Identify client requirements, perform needs analysis, and recommend suitable products and additional value-added solutions.
- Conduct onboarding calls and live product demonstrations for trial customers using Reckon One via Microsoft Teams.
- Guide prospective customers through key cloud accounting features, setup, workflows, and best-practice recommendations.
- Support SaaS trial conversion activities by identifying customer pain points and aligning solutions to drive adoption and conversion rates.
- Utilise inbound and outbound opportunities to generate sales, renewals, and long-term customer engagement.
- Develop strong customer relationships through a consultative and solution-focused approach, demonstrating how Reckon products add value to their business.
- Conduct proactive follow-up calls and communications with customers who have expressed interest in our products.
- Respond to customer enquiries and emails in a professional and timely manner.
- Create and maintain accurate CRM and customer records, including tracking onboarding progress throughout the customer journey.
- Set clear and achievable expectations with customers and consistently deliver on them.
- Attend product training sessions and contribute to ongoing learning and development initiatives.
- Proactively contribute to the improvement of departmental processes, policies, and customer experience initiatives.
- Complete general administrative tasks and comply with all company procedures and Work Health & Safety policies.

- Product / professional business knowledge
- Ability to multitask and prioritise
- Sound computing skills, including MS Word, Excel and Outlook
Desirable Criteria
- Previous experience in a customer sales role, preferably in a retail or call centre environment
