About the role
The Senior Sport and Recreation Development Officer is responsible for supporting the effective management and activation of Wyndham’s sport and recreation services, helping to create positive participation opportunities for the community and support the sustainable growth of local sporting clubs.
Working closely with sporting clubs, peak bodies, schools and community stakeholders, the position focuses on building strong relationships, improving service delivery and ensuring Council’s sporting facilities are managed and utilised effectively.
The role also contributes to strategic projects, policy development and initiatives that enhance community participation and support the future planning of sport and recreation across Wyndham.
As part of a collaborative team, the successful candidate will provide professional advice, contribute to process improvements and help deliver responsive, customer-focused outcomes for the community.
