At our Lummen site, SABCA Limburg, we are specialized in the manufacturing of high-tech composite assemblies for aircraft. On the one hand, we produce integrated

skins for flaps and stabilizers using two automatic tape-layers and very large autoclaves and of course, our colleagues’ extended know-how. In cooperation with the

Engineering office in Brussels, SABCA Limburg is also responsible for the flap track fairings of several aircraft.

On the other hand, the Space industry is also present in this plant with the final system integration of Ariane and Vega assemblies.

In our site in Lummen, SABCA Limburg, we specialize in the production of high-tech composite components for aircraft, including the F-35!

For SABCA Limburg, we are currently looking for a Teamleader for our cleanroom department. Within the cleanroom, our colleagues are responsible for activities such as cutting raw materials on flatbed tables, producing complex 3D composite parts, performing quality inspections, and more. The department consists of more than 20 operators.

Responsibilities

• You are responsible for conducting performance reviews, coaching, and motivating employees
• You know how to lead and coach the team in such a way that planning targets are achieved both qualitatively and quantitatively
• You define team goals and manage performance within the department
• You are closely involved in the daily objectives and priorities of your team
• You have the ambition to become an expert within the department
• You are responsible for quality control within the cleanroom
• You closely monitor production output and progress
• You actively promote a continuous improvement mindset within your department
• You act as the link between your team and other departments
• You are responsible for key objectives such as safety, quality, customer satisfaction, cost efficiency, problem-solving, and employee engagement
• You collaborate and take responsibility at your level regarding the EN9100 quality standard and the ISO 14001 environmental standard

Your profile

• You hold a bachelor’s degree or have equivalent experience
• You have experience in line management and leading teams
• You are communicative and know how to motivate and inspire people
• Safety and quality are always your top priorities
• You maintain a helicopter view and are able to lead the team efficiently and effectively
• You have an affinity with technology and a natural curiosity to learn more about the full technical production process
