Founding Engineer - Real-Time AI Systems (Healthcare)
We’re building something that doesn’t exist today: real-time AI that runs inside a doctor’s office. Today, AI in healthcare mostly lives in the cloud. It helps with notes and paperwork—but it’s not present when decisions are made. That’s because clinics don’t have the power, cooling, or infrastructure needed to run high-performance systems.
We’re changing that.
We’re building GPU-powered systems that run locally, inside clinical environments, enabling AI to operate in real time during patient care. This is a move from prototype to production, and early engineers will define how the system works end-to-end.
Preferred Technical Background
- Distributed computing and systems: Kubernetes, large-scale orchestration, reliability engineering at load, architecting data layer powering fast and intelligent applications and ensuring reliable, scalable, and secure data pipelines with clean APIs.
- GPU acceleration: CUDA kernels, NVIDIA stack, performance optimization in constrained hardware environments
- Retrieval-augmented generation and knowledge systems: RAG pipelines, vector databases, LLM integration in production
- High-fidelity 3D graphics and visualization: real-time rendering, clinical or spatial data visualization
- Front end (UI/UX) development: build responsive, performant end user interfaces across web and native mobile platforms, translating high-fidelity design specs into clean, maintainable code and obsessing over visual precision, fluid animations, and platform-native feel while collaborating closely with designers to achieve production quality.
- Systems orchestration: containerization, edge compute, firmware and software deployment pipelines in non-datacenter environments
Additional Qualifications
