We are a YC backed voice-AI start building the future of talent acquisition and talent management. Founded by IIT Delhi and NIT alums, we server 500+ customers with two products: Nova (world’s most human-like AI interviewer) and talent management platform.

We’re hiring our first Talent Acquisition Lead to build and scale our hiring engine from the ground up.

This is not a transactional recruiting role.

You’ll architect how Peoplebox hires, from strategy to systems to execution, working closely with founders to build a world-class team across Tech and GTM.

As the founding TA leader, you will directly shape our growth, hiring velocity, culture quality, and employer brand.

What You’ll Own

Talent Strategy & Workforce Planning

  • Partner with founders and leaders to define hiring roadmaps aligned with business goals
  • Translate growth plans into structured hiring strategies with clear outcomes

End-to-End Hiring Leadership

  • Own the entire hiring lifecycle across technical and non-technical roles
  • Build structured evaluation frameworks to improve signal and reduce bias
  • Drive data-backed decisions across sourcing, conversion, and offers

High-Impact Sourcing

  • Build strong inbound and outbound pipelines for critical roles
  • Leverage networks, referrals, events, and creative sourcing strategies
  • Turn Peoplebox into a magnet for top talent

Candidate Experience & Employer Brand

  • Design a differentiated, high-trust candidate experience
  • Shape our employer narrative across channels
  • Represent Peoplebox in leadership hiring and external forums

Process & Systems

  • Build scalable hiring processes, metrics, and dashboards
  • Improve speed, predictability, and quality of hires
  • Evaluate and optimize ATS and recruiting stack

Stakeholder Management

  • Coach hiring managers on interviewing and assessment
  • Influence leadership on hiring decisions and trade-offs
  • Drive alignment on quality benchmarks across teams

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of recruiting experience with strong exposure to tech + GTM hiring
  • Experience building or scaling hiring in high-growth startups
  • Strong understanding of structured interviews, competency mapping, and calibration
  • Proven ability to hire for complex, senior, and business-critical roles
  • Comfortable working closely with founders and senior leadership
  • High ownership mindset; thrives in ambiguity and zero-to-one environments
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • SaaS or HR Tech experience is a plus
