Role Summary

Cogency Global is seeking a hands-on, execution-driven Global Head of Marketing to lead and evolve a global, integrated marketing function spanning brand, segment marketing, demand generation, content, and events. Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, this leader will own go-to-market strategy for our primary client segments and be accountable for brand strength, customer acquisition, and revenue impact through disciplined, data-driven marketing execution. A core mandate is to lead acquisition integration across marketing and brand, bringing newly acquired businesses into Cogency’s brand architecture, go-to-market model, and marketing operations in a structured, repeatable way. This is a global role that sets direction and enables day-to-day execution across North America, Latin America, EMEA, and APAC, ensuring alignment, visibility, and consistency across markets.

Why This Role Matters

  • Cogency is at a pivotal stage of growth, with strong marketing talent, a growing international footprint, and an active acquisition strategy that requires a streamlined, scalable marketing engine.
  • This role brings clarity, alignment, and execution discipline to Marketing, converting strategy into a repeatable system that drives brand equity, demand, and revenue.
  • The leader in this seat will determine how acquired brands are absorbed and activated, how the brand shows up across regions and segments, and how Cogency coordinates high-impact go-to-market execution globally.

What You’ll Own

  • Lead a global, integrated marketing engine with clear direction, priorities, and accountability across functions and regions.
  • Develop and execute a global marketing strategy and annual budget that align brand, segment marketing, demand generation, content, and events to revenue and growth objectives.
  • Build and scale a data-driven demand generation and content system that consistently drives qualified pipeline, improves conversion, and supports both new logo acquisition and account expansion.
  • Lead marketing integration of acquired businesses, using repeatable frameworks and playbooks to bring them into Cogency’s brand architecture, digital presence, and go-to-market model.
  • Define and run a global marketing operating model that aligns central and regional teams, balancing global consistency with regional flexibility and ensuring strong visibility into initiatives and performance.
  • Align Marketing tightly with Sales, Product/Service Line Leaders, Operations, and Finance around shared segment strategies, KPIs, and coordinated go-to-market motions.
  • Optimize the marketing technology stack, data practices, and AI-enabled tools to improve speed, personalization, and performance measurement.
  • Oversee Cogency’s global brand narrative and positioning, ensuring consistent, high-quality activation across content, campaigns, digital properties, and client experiences.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing global marketing team, embedding matrixed ownership, clear accountability, and disciplined execution.

Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years’ experience leading global marketing for B2B services businesses (no software), ideally in corporate services, legal services, or adjacent markets.
  • Experience scaling global marketing functions in high-growth environments strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success developing segment-specific strategies and campaigns for one or more of: Professional Services firms (especially law firms, as well as CPA and title companies), Financial Services (especially lenders), and Corporate Entities (for profit and non-profit), typically selling into General Counsel, legal operations, and business operations leaders.
  • Proven track record building integrated marketing engines that drive qualified opportunity, revenue, and account expansion in complex, relationship-driven sales environments.
  • Strong command of demand generation and account-based marketing, including funnel design, lead qualification in partnership with Sales, and marketing-sourced/influenced pipeline metrics.
  • Deep familiarity with modern marketing technology and data practices (CRM, marketing automation, analytics, AI-enabled tools) and how to apply them in longer, consultative sales cycles.
  • Experience integrating acquired brands and businesses into a coherent brand architecture and go-to-market model, including playbooks and governance.
  • Skilled at operating in global, matrixed organizations, balancing central standards with regional autonomy.
  • Exceptional leadership and talent development skills, with a track record of building high-performing teams and leading through change and growth.
  • Strong strategic thinking, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior executives and partners.
