As one of the leading FMCG companies, Hayat Kimya is looking for a Regional Finance Manager responsible for the Middle East & Africa (MEA) Region to support the MEA Region President at the Headquarters Office in Istanbul.

The primary focus of this finance business partnering role is to deliver timely, sensible, accurate financial insights and detailed analysis for the Region President to support both operational and strategic decision making. The focus areas will be monthly country, category and SKU profitability analysis, leading annual budgeting process for the Region; improvement of country controls and month end closure activities at countries and leading strategic investment feasibility studies and country entry scenarios.

KEY RESPONSİBİLİTİES

  • Act as the bridge and gate keeper between HQ finance team and country finance teams to ensure on time in full reporting of forecasts, actual results and execution of smooth month end closure process in parallel with global communications
  • Deliver timely and insightful business intelligence through monthly variance analysis of HQ & country data and provide monthly PL commentaries to Region President especially on commercial results and SKU profitability.
  • Improve financial capabilities and accountabilities and controls within country teams
  • Run feasibility studies and cost benchmarking among the Region with the support of Global costing team
  • Improve the accuracy and quality of financial analysis run and inputs from country teams
  • Drive solid actions to improve opex cost and working capital within the region
  • Support Region VP, Holding CEO and General Managers in ad hoc analysis & reports and monthly SOP & forecasting cycle, pricing and profitability decisions.
  • Support HQ reporting team during annual budgeting process with cross functional / country teams to collect, consolidate and analyze
  • Serve as single point of contact for execution of global finance policy, procedures, controls and IFRS reporting communicated by HQ team within the Region
  • Have regular reviews with country GM and CFOS on monthly commentary & financial insight generation
  • Leads and coordinates financial process and system improvement projects as a region finance head. ( SAP, Power BI, analytics etc)
  • Leads process and business improvement though both generating best practice examples for the globe as well as implementing other best practice examples from the world within his/her countries in the Region
  • The role requires direct partnership with country CFOs, GMs, Country Local teams and HQ teams

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management, Economics or Engineering from reputable university
  • Min 8-10 years of experience in preferably in FMCG companies in the areas of business partnering, BU controlling , FPA role. Costing knowledge is a must.
  • Having experience in corporate center function of a global organization is an asset.
  • Effectively using MS Office programs ( excel and powerpoint), SAP knowledge is an asset
  • BPC, Power BI knowledge are assets
  • Fluency in English both written and spoken,
  • High analytical skills and performed experience in converting big data into business insights
  • Ability to work with tight deadlines and complex data
  • Good communication, influencing skills to drive a results and create accountabilities in a multi-cultural global organisation
