IT Intern (July 2026 to January 2027)
Location: Singapore
What You’ll Do
- Support commercial system BAU activities such as daily price monitoring and troubleshooting, deal data upload and integration, and other operational support tasks as needed.
- Support Asia IT initiatives across data and analytics, automation, and business-facing IT support, with exposure to projects such as Databricks use cases, Python/Streamlit prototyping, and local rollout of global solutions.
- Help identify manual or repetitive tasks and support the team in building simple automation, trackers, dashboards, or process improvements that enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Support testing, issue tracking, user feedback collection, and adoption activities for new or enhanced IT solutions rolled out to Singapore business teams.
- Work closely with Asia IT and Trade Support team members and business stakeholders to understand requirements, communicate clearly, and contribute to high-quality execution of team priorities.
- Assist with documenting business and support processes, preparing user guides, organizing project materials, and improving knowledge sharing across Asia IT and Trade Support.
What You’ll Bring – Required
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, Business Information Systems, or a related field
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure information clearly and work through detail-oriented tasks
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong collaboration skills and a team-player mindset, with willingness to support others and work effectively across functions
- A proactive and curious mindset, with willingness to learn new tools, ask questions, and contribute as part of a team
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Python, SQL, or data visualization tools is preferred
What Makes You Stand Out
- Exposure to Generative AI, AI Agent, Power BI, Databricks, or other analytics / automation tools
- Interest in business process improvement, digital transformation, or supporting commercial / trading-related systems
- Ability to balance structured execution with creativity in solving problems and improving ways of working
- Strong ownership mindset, attention to detail, and willingness to support both project work and day-to-day team priorities
- Interest in learning how IT partners with business teams to turn technology solutions into business outcomes in Asia.
