Job Purpose
As EHS Specialist, you report directly to the Group EHS Manager. Your goals will be to ensure that the EHS policy and topics are implemented, efficient and in compliance with the relevant regulations for the plants in your area. To ensure prevention and a healthy workspace, you will support the plants, enforce the caring concept, the safety measures and coordinate with other departments, in a global respect of the environment.
Key Responsibilities
Safety
- Implements & ensures the 0-accident culture
- Investigates the work accidents and follows the corrective & preventive actions implementation
- Monitors the risk assessment and supports to provide preventive action
Environment
- Follows the environmental strategy implementation, with a focus on the consumption and waste reduction
- Participates to the CO2 strategy implementation
Health
- Promotes the caring process at the plant level
- Works to reduce the ergonomics impact in collaboration with the plants
EHS
- Visits regularly the plants to provide an operational support
- Ensures the implementation and the follow-up of the EHS policies, management system and requirements
- Contributes to Corporate Social Responsibility, Employer Branding & Sustainability of the Group
- Acts in collaboration with the EHS department to ensure the implementation and follow-up of the EHS strategy
- Supports the plants during the internal & external audit processes
- Ensures the continuous improvements on the EHS topics locally & at the Group level
- Provides training on environmental, health and safety topics
- Assists in emergency response and first aid guidance
Education and experience
- University degree is appreciated (First degree)
- Three to five years of working experience in a relevant field
- Very good level of German and English Skills (written & spoken)
- Knowledge of the ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 requirements
