We’re growing, and we’re looking for a Part-Time Assistant Accountant to help keep the numbers, systems and day-to-day finance operations running smoothly behind the scenes. This role would suit someone who’s organised, proactive, detail-focused and keen to become part of a fast-moving agency environment where no two days are exactly the same.

What you’ll be doing

  • Bookkeeping and account reconciliations
  • Managing accounts payable and receivable
  • Processing payroll
  • Receiving and processing purchase orders
  • Supporting the team with general finance administration
  • Helping maintain and organise our finance systems (Xero)
  • Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and reporting
  • Providing simple analysis and insights to support decision making

What We’re Looking For

  • Someone who’s proactive and eager to learn the business
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with Xero (highly regarded)
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities
  • Great communication skills — both written and verbal
  • A team player who enjoys helping people and solving problems
  • Previous experience in accounts reconciliation and administration
