We’re growing, and we’re looking for a Part-Time Assistant Accountant to help keep the numbers, systems and day-to-day finance operations running smoothly behind the scenes. This role would suit someone who’s organised, proactive, detail-focused and keen to become part of a fast-moving agency environment where no two days are exactly the same.
What you’ll be doing
- Bookkeeping and account reconciliations
- Managing accounts payable and receivable
- Processing payroll
- Receiving and processing purchase orders
- Supporting the team with general finance administration
- Helping maintain and organise our finance systems (Xero)
- Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and reporting
- Providing simple analysis and insights to support decision making
What We’re Looking For
- Someone who’s proactive and eager to learn the business
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Experience with Xero (highly regarded)
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities
- Great communication skills — both written and verbal
- A team player who enjoys helping people and solving problems
- Previous experience in accounts reconciliation and administration
