The district maintains a strong financial position as a result of new and increasing revenue sources. The San Bruno Park Board of Directors recently approved a 9.5% raise over two years for all educators in the district demonstrating its commitment to attract and retain talented staff across the district.

Job Summary

Job Summary

The Director of Bond and Facilities Modernization is a high-level administrative leadership role responsible for the strategic planning, oversight, and execution of the District’s capital improvement program. This individual ensures that bond-funded projects are completed on time, within budget, and in alignment with the District’s educational goals. The Director serves as the primary liaison between District leadership, the Citizens’ Bond Oversight Committee (CBOC), architects, contractors, and the San Bruno community.

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Public Administration, or a related field (Master's preferred) -Minimum of 5-7 years of increasing responsibility in facilities management or construction, ideally within a California K-12 public school district -Deep understanding of the California Building Code, Public Contract Code, and DSA procedures -Proficiency in project management software, budget forecasting and public speaking -Valid California Driver's License and ability to pass a DOJ fingerprint clearance.
