Nature and Scope of Job: Philip's Academy Charter School of Paterson seeks a Music Teacher to be the instructional leader of their classes. Teachers create, manage, and participate in a variety of learning environments and activities that enhance student development and mastery of learning objectives. Philip's teachers participate in extensive Professional Development, collaborate with other faculty and staff, promote rigorous learning opportunities and look out for the collective and individual interests of Philip's students as well as the school's greater community.

Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field required; advanced degree in education a plus
Certification
Hold a valid NJ State P-12 Music Education Instructional Certificate Certification or Certificate of Eligibility.
Salary Range: $50,000 - $65,000.00 (Guided by Salary Scale)

Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with the board's policy on evaluation.
