You will:

  • Compensation expense planning/forecasting, coordinating monthly bonus accrual, and preparation of base salary budgets, including accompanying data auditing, reporting and analytics
  • Facilitate the year-end salary and bonus processes
  • Preparation of compensation related modelling and analytics to create senior management exhibits and presenting to management teams to make critical business decisions
  • Preparation of a wide variety of human capital analytics
  • Collaboration with various partners, including BU-specific, Regional and Firmwide Compensation Teams, HR Business Partners, Recruitment, Finance, Payroll, Executive Compensation
  • Market data coordination and vendor relation

You have:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in Business
  • At least 2-3 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role (HR or Finance reporting/analytics)
  • Ability to develop analytics from multiple streams of data, interpret & analyze trends, develop meaningful story/recommendation and communicate the information in a logical, concise way
  • Must have ability to manage projects in addition to daily responsibilities, ensuring accurate delivery of product to senior management and external stakeholders
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills; exposure to Microsoft Access or Alteryx preferred
  • Interest in learning new systems and technologies

Morgan Stanley's Rewards & Analytics function specializes in ensuring the Firm has competitive and cost-effective compensation policies and practices. This role is responsible for compensation implementation (e.g., salary, annual and long-term incentive), program design, and administration for exempt and non-exempt staff, year-end management, regulatory filings, market data, compensation accruals and committee/Board level meetings.
