University College Dublin’s Professional Academy is seeking a commercially driven Corporate Account Director to win new business and grow strategic accounts within our rapidly expanding Corporate Team.

The UCD Professional Academy focuses on delivering shorter, career-focused training to individuals across a wide variety of industries. These courses are primarily delivered online.

Key responsibilities:

  • Drive new business development and manage & grow existing strategic accounts across key sectors
  • Build and maintain a high-quality sales pipeline through proactive prospecting, account development, and CRM management
  • Develop strategic account plans and target account maps to support quota attainment and long-term account growth
  • Conduct face-to-face and virtual meetings with senior stakeholders to understand business challenges and identify growth opportunities
  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and opportunity creation through to closing, onboarding, account growth, and renewals
  • Drive repeat business and early renewal opportunities through strong account management and client engagement
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to support customer growth, retention, and overall client experience

Skills and requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in B2B sales, enterprise sales, or strategic account management
  • Proven track record in winning new business and growing existing client accounts
  • Highly driven, target-oriented, and motivated by performance
  • Strong consultative sales approach with experience engaging multiple senior stakeholders across organisations
  • Excellent pipeline management, forecasting, and commercial planning skills
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities effectively
  • High level of ownership, accountability, and commercial curiosity within your sector
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Experience operating successfully within a fast-paced sales environment
  • Ability to use insights and data to support outreach, pipeline growth, and account strategy
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to self-source, manage, and close opportunities
  • Experience using CRM platforms such as HubSpot or Salesforce
  • Strong team player who values collaboration, shared success, and continuous improvement
