We're looking for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to take ownership of complex, large-scale electrical packages across our data centre portfolio. This is a senior delivery role at the heart of some of Ireland's most technically demanding projects — and a genuine opportunity to shape how Sensori delivers at the highest level.
You'll lead the full electrical package from mobilisation through to handover, managing Sensori's site team, subcontractors, suppliers, and client stakeholders, and driving delivery against scope, schedule, cost, and quality targets. If you thrive in complex multi-contractor environments and are ready to take real ownership of a package — this is your role.
The Role
As Electrical Project Manager, you'll be the single point of accountability for the electrical package — from setting up the project framework at the outset, to ensuring a clean, well-documented handover at the end. You'll work closely with Sensori's internal teams and act as the key interface with consulting engineers, the General Contractor, and the client.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Own the full electrical package across scope, schedule, cost, quality, and commercial close-out — delivering to programme and budget on large-scale data centre installations
- Drive and maintain the project programme in coordination with consulting engineers, the GC, and client milestones — proactively managing float and escalating risks early
- Manage all commercial aspects of the package including variations, valuations, labour tracking, material and plant costs, subcontract management, and goods receipting
- Schedule and track material deliveries against the programme, ensuring procurement and logistics never become a constraint on site productivity
- Lead day-to-day site operations across the electrical package — overseeing Sensori's direct labour and subcontract teams, managing resource allocation and productivity
- Manage subcontractor performance, progress, and manpower levels; chair weekly minuted coordination meetings and hold teams accountable to programme and quality
- Operate Sensori's snagging system, ensuring supervisors issue weekly punch lists and that snags are distributed, tracked, and closed out in a timely manner
- Issue direct labour and subcontractor hours to the time administrator and maintain a weekly photographic diary and live project documentation
- Own site QA in coordination with Sensori's QA Manager — establish, manage, and formally close out the QA file to the required standard
- Attend site meetings, internal project reviews, engineering reviews, planning and coordination sessions, and handover meetings — representing Sensori's electrical package with authority
- Lead site safety in collaboration with Sensori's Safety Advisor — set up, actively maintain, and close out the project safety file, ensuring full compliance with Irish H&S legislation and data centre client requirements
- Ensure all installations comply with National Rules, design specifications, and the project's regulatory and client-specific requirements
- Champion a strong safety culture across all direct and subcontract teams on site — lead by example at all times
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with the client, GC, consulting engineers, and third-party teams — acting as a trusted, solutions-focused point of contact throughout the project
- Drive formal project close-out including final account, O&M manuals, punch lists, safety and QA files, and material and plant relocations — in collaboration with the wider project team
What You'll Bring
Essential:
- Trade qualification and/or third-level degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Installation, or a related discipline
- Minimum 5 years' experience managing large-scale electrical installation projects, with a proven track record of on-time, on-budget delivery
- Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-contractor environments — including commercial management, subcontract coordination, and industrial relations
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems associated with data centre environments: HV/LV distribution, UPS, generators, power distribution, and associated controls
- Solid working knowledge of Irish Health & Safety legislation, and construction regulations
- Experience in design-and-build delivery models and working alongside consulting engineering teams
- Excellent IT literacy — proficient with project scheduling, reporting, and documentation tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to produce detailed reports and represent Sensori in senior client and GC meetings
- Commercially astute, highly organised, and able to manage competing priorities under programme pressure
Desirable:
- Direct experience delivering electrical packages on hyperscale or co-location data centre projects
- Familiarity with BIM, digital delivery tools, and document management systems
- A solid understanding of mechanical systems and MEP coordination in mission-critical environments
