Job Objective
To support the Legal Department in a broad range of legal matters, including contract management, compliance, and due diligence processes, while contributing to legal documentation and the monitoring of legal and regulatory developments across multiple jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting with third-party verification and due diligence processes, including document review and internal follow-up
- Supporting the structuring and documentation of contract approval and signature workflows (including process mapping and internal guidelines)
- Monitoring legal and regulatory developments, including legislation and case law, notably through the use of digital and AI-based tools
- Supporting the drafting, review, and execution of standard legal agreements, such as freelancer or contributor agreements (e.g. commentators);
- Preparing draft summaries, comparisons, templates, and other internal legal documentation under the supervision of Legal Counsels
- Supporting formal notice and breach notification procedures, notably in relation to unauthorized public viewings of CANAL+ Sports channels by B2B customers (e.g. bars, pubs, commercial venues);
- Contributing, where relevant, to legal research and analysis on applicable laws and regulations across the covered jurisdictions
- Providing general legal support as required during the internship
Skills & Experience
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Master’s degree in law (or equivalent)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an interest in business-oriented legal matters
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive, organized, and detail-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership
- Ability to work in a collaborative and international environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools(Word, Excel, etc.)
- Interest in legal tech and digital tools, including AI-based solutions, is a plus
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required; French and/or other European languages are a strong advantage
