In this role, the Tax & Accounting Specialist will contribute to the implementation of accounting and tax policies and strategies to ensure compliance with specific norms and regulations in force. As a Finance and Accounting Specialist, you will be primarily responsible for managing the General Ledger (GL) which involves overseeing the entire accounting flow, performing specific operations at month-end closing, verifying the accounting and tax treatment applied to all accounting records, confirming the accuracy of the balance sheet data and that they reflect economic reality and comply with the tax rules in force. The role also requires tax planning and reporting, including the verification and filing of corporate tax returns.

Therefore, we are looking for a person who meets the following conditions:

•Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Economics (Accounting, Finance, or related economic fields).

•Strong knowledge of accounting standards and principles;

•Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in accounting;

•Experience with ERP systems; SAP knowledge is a plus;

•Knowledge in the field of Production is an advantage;

•Good practical knowledge of MS Excel;

•Good analytical and problem-solving skills; detail-oriented;

•Ability to work independently, but also collaboratively in a team;

•Very good time management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines;

•Ability to quickly adapt to changes, agility;

•Fast learning ability;

•Very good communication skills;

•Good written and verbal communication skills in English;

•Ability to interact effectively at different levels within the organization

The main responsibilities would be:

•Establish efficient and effective procedures for organizing accounting and tax activities in accordance with the Accounting Law, OMFP 1802, the Tax Code, and other applicable legislative provisions;

•Responsible for making accounting and management entries at month-end (salaries, stocks, revaluation, provisions, prepaid expenses, allocation of expenses to cost centers) etc;

•Prepare and verify monthly tax returns and semi-annual and annual financial reports;

•Verify and certify the correctness of information in the monthly purchase/sales journals from the accounting software in accordance with information from tax reports;

•Prepare calculation, entry, and quarterly reporting of corporate tax;

•Participate in the analysis of operations and transactions for Transfer Pricing;

•Check and ensure the accuracy of the tax sheet;

•Prepare the necessary documentation for declaring and paying various taxes;

•Ensure obtaining the tax residency certificates resulting from current transactions, translating, and notarizing them;

•Ensure detailed reconciliation of transactions and balances in accounting accounts periodically, at least semi-annually;

•Centralize and propose solutions for resolving possible tax discrepancies in accounting;

•Participate in the annual inventory of the patrimony;

•Responsible for monitoring and conducting all tax controls, maintaining the relationship with state authorities and auditors;

•Ensure that the correct accounting and tax treatment has been applied to all accounting entries and that all reports reflect the reality of the company's operations and projects;

•Provide continuous support regarding the applicable tax treatment in the cases faced by the company;

•Stay informed about all legislative news in the financial sector, know and implement tax changes.
