Job Summary:
The Head of Retail Data Management & Analytics is responsible for leading the end-to-end data management, reporting, and analytics function within Retail Banking. The role ensures the delivery of accurate, consistent, and timely insights to support performance monitoring, strategic planning, and decision-making across all retail segments.
Plays a critical role in driving data governance, standardization, and automation while enhancing advanced analytics capabilities and enabling a data-driven culture across the organization.
Job Responsibilities:
• Lead the design, development, and governance of the Retail MIS and performance reporting framework.
• Ensure comprehensive coverage across all retail segments, including Assets, Liabilities, Cards, and Digital Channels.
• Standardize reporting structures to ensure consistency, clarity, and alignment with business objectives.
• Establish robust data governance and reconciliation processes between reporting outputs and source systems.
• Ensure all discrepancies are identified, investigated, and resolved in coordination with IT and Operations.
• Maintain a centralized KPI dictionary and reporting documentation repository.
• Provide insights and analysis to explain performance trends, variances, and key business drivers.
• Lead initiatives to enhance reporting efficiency through automation and advanced data solutions.
• Oversee the development and enhancement of dashboards and reporting tools such as Microsoft Power BI and MicroStrategy.
• Drive the adoption of scalable data models and modern reporting architecture.
• Support the implementation of Microsoft data strategy solutions, including automation, data visualization, and advanced reporting frameworks.
• Lead and manage the Data Management & Analytics team, ensuring effective workload distribution and delivery of high-quality outputs.
• Develop team capabilities in advanced analytics, data validation, and reporting automation.
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, economics, data Analytics, or a related field.
• Minimum 9-12 years of progressive experience in Retail Banking MIS, Data Management, Analytics, or Business Planning.
• Strong ability to align data insights with business strategy and financial performance.
• Strong knowledge of data analytics, modeling, and automation.
• Expertise in building and governing performance frameworks and KPI structures.
• Proven leadership experience managing data, reporting, or analytics teams.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead high-performing teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality outputs.
