Minimum Requirements
- Substantial sales experience within the medical insurance sector. IPMI experience is preferred but PMI will also be considered.
- A track record of successfully analysing, identifying and capitalising upon new business opportunities
- Strong client management skills and ability to deliver on promises
- Able to demonstrable full knowledge of the sales process
- Excellent written and spoken English are essential; additional local language capabilities are advatnageous.
- Strong communication skills in all forms including written, oral, email, telephone, and presentation.
- Fully conversant with Microsoft Office; experience of using industry specific technology and/or the ability to quickly grasp new systems following training.
- A positive attitude to dealing with people
- Capable of working independently and taking individual ownership
Responsibilities
- Introduce, promote and market the company’s products to intermediaries such as brokers, agents and independent financial advisers.
- Act as a link between the company and Intermediaries. Provide high-quality support to all Global brokers by answering queries, providing product details etc.
- Attend all scheduled meetings to facilitate smooth operational procedures.
- Develop, manage and retain intermediary client accounts.
- Provide quotations in accordance with written procedures and processes, and in strict compliance with any relevant statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Deliver presentation to the clients and represent the business at exhibitions, conferences and similar events.
- Liaise with Intermediaries and internal operations team to ensure queries are resolved in a timely manner.
- Build up detailed knowledge of the company’s products and keep up-to-date awareness of competitor activity, products and pricing.
- Assist in the delivery of any ad-hoc training that the Intermediaries might require on our products.
- Ensure that the company’s brand values, principles, and style are adopted and utilized for all external communication.
- Maximise productivity of individual distribution opportunities as developed and appointed to you
- Work closely with and in support of the General Manager and Business Development Team including trainings, quotations, customer, intermediary support, administrative tasks and other ad hoc tasks as required
- Renewal of existing business as an when required
- Conversion of individual direct sale enquiries
- Ensure that any complaints or service failures reported by brokers and/or members are escalated to the relevant Customer Service team and dealt with strictly in accordance with Complaints Procedures.
- Acquire and maintain thorough understanding of Now Health International’s process, procedures and systems (OH+), and ensure that all system information is fully up-to-date.
- Take personal responsibility to always actively treat customers fairly.
- Adhere to best practice processes including delivery of all the agreed service standards.
