BİM Birleşik Mağazalar A.Ş., which began operations in 1995 with 21 stores, is today the company with the highest market share in Turkey's organized retail sector.
BİM's core principle is delivering essential food and consumer goods to customers at the highest quality and most competitive prices. As the first representative of the hard-discount model in Turkey, BİM offers a product range of approximately 900 items — the majority of which are its own private-label brands — through its retail stores operating across the country. In addition, BİM launched an online shopping service for non-food products via the BİM MARKET mobile application in late 2021.
BİM continued its steady growth in 2024, opening 886 new domestic stores throughout the year to reach a total of 12,089 stores in Turkey by year-end. The company continues to develop while maintaining its commitment to quality and customer satisfaction alongside an effective cost management policy.
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience with Qlik Sense, SAP SAC, SAP BO, and Business Intelligence / data analytics tools
- Hands-on experience in data analysis and reporting integrated with SAP ERP; working knowledge of SAP BW (Business Warehouse), Datasphere, and SAC for data modeling and reporting
- Experience in data warehouse architecture, data modeling, and ETL processes — preferably on modern platforms such as SAP BDC or Google BigQuery
- Preferably proficient in the data structures of SAP HANA MM, SD, and FI modules, with the ability to perform data extraction from SAP source systems; advanced skills in SQL and Python
- Preferably experienced in budgeting, forecasting, and consolidation processes using SAP BPC (Standard and Embedded models)
- Preferably capable of integrating Machine Learning, Predictive Analytics, or AI solutions into data processing workflows
- Familiar with project management tools such as JIRA, Trello, and GitHub
- Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Results-driven, accountable, and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving, planning, and reporting abilities
- Good command of English
- Preferably residing or willing to reside on the Asian side of Istanbul
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Design and implement the appropriate data architecture and analytical data models to meet business requirements
- Develop and maintain ETL processes, data models, and reports within SAP BW, BO, and Qlik Sense
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, continuity, and security across SAP Datasphere, BW, BO, and Qlik Sense environments
- Provide the necessary data infrastructure and integration support for BPC applications used in financial planning and consolidation
- Analyze and prioritize requirements from business units and deliver the required technical solutions
- Build predictive models on datasets and integrate AI-powered analytics solutions into reporting tools to enhance decision-support processes across business units
