TotalEnergies Renewables is looking for a Site Operation Manager. NOMAD PV plant - 28MW.
Purpose:
The purpose of the O&M Operations Manager is to implement the right processes and practices across the organization. The specific duties of an Operations Manager include formulating strategy, improving performance, securing compliance, ensuring the fulfillment of the schedule of PV plant generation, reliable, economical and safe mode of operation of the PV plant, supervising the start-ups and shutdowns of the generation facilities and other equipment of the PV plant and the change in its operating modes, switching in the main electrical circuits, protection, and automation circuits of the PV plant. The O&M Manager will be ready to mentor his team members, find ways to increase quality of customer service and implement best practices across all levels.
Significant activities:
Operation and Maintenance
- Manage the O&M site personnel
- Prepare and perform annual and long-term O&M plans
- Synchronize O&M plans with local stakeholders
- Ensure the fulfillment of the schedule of PV plant generation, reliable, economical, and safe mode of operation of the PV plant
- Supervise the start-ups and shutdowns of the generation facilities and other equipment of the PV plant and the change in its operating modes, switching in the main electrical circuits, protection, and automation circuits of the PV plant
- Carry out the admission of employees of third-party organizations for maintenance, repair, commissioning, and other works
- Controls the availability and correct operation of mechanization and vehicles, special equipment, and devices
- Carry out registrations of faults, defects, underperformance events
- Control personnel labor discipline, reveal and fix the identified deviations from the requirements of the rules and instructions
- Carry out periodic inspections of the maintenance and repair quality performed by site or Contractor’s personnel
- Supervise the actions in the elimination (localization) of accidents and other technological disturbances in the operation of the PV plant, natural disasters, and fire, as well as in the elimination of the consequences of incidents
- Participate in completion inspections after maintenance, repairment or installations of new facilities performed by Contractors
- Interacts with Contractors, Suppliers, stakeholders (KEGOC, REK...), supervisory authorities, in terms of the obligations of this job description
- Participate in process of obtaining a passport of readiness for work in the autumn-winter period
Health and Safety
- Provide all works on site in line with safety, labor, fire, electricity equipment operations, and other relating rules and local instructions and procedures
- Periodically pass exams and get certificates in line with electrical safety, fire, healthy rules
Financial
- Act as a materially responsible person, ensuring proper storage and utilization of inventories, preparing monthly inventory usage reports, and participating in annual inventory and asset counts
- Participate in and control the execution of annual and long-term budget plans
Reporting
- Report monthly activities
Report any non-compliance

Qualification/Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
- Engineer, 3 years of professional experience in the renewable energy sector.
- Electrical safety allowance certificate – 5th category.
- Experience in people management.
- Technical knowledge of operating PV plant. Strong experience with Excel and data treatment. Comfortable with data analysis software. Good qualitative and quantitative analysis skills.
- Analytical mindset. High level of execution.
- Autonomous. Motivated. Teamwork with various profiles and cultures.
- Russian and English languages are perfectly spoken and written. Kazakh language is an advantage.
