Title: IBM Datacap Sr. Developer

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced IBM Datacap professional to focus on the develop, support, maintenance, and migration of our existing Datacap environments. This is a support- and migration-focused role (upgrades and cloud transitions) rather than a greenfield development position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support & Maintenance: Provide day-to-day support, troubleshooting, and performance tuning for existing IBM Datacap applications and workflows.
- Migrations & Upgrades: Lead and execute migrations of Datacap environments from on-premises to the cloud, as well as upgrading older Datacap versions to the latest releases.
- Collaboration: Partner with infrastructure, cloud, and database teams to ensure seamless migration paths and minimal downtime.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience working with IBM Datacap.
- Migration Expertise: Proven track record of migrating Datacap from on-premises to cloud environments preferred GCP (Azure, AWS) and upgrading legacy Datacap versions.
- Support Focus: Strong background in supporting and maintaining existing Datacap systems (troubleshooting rulesets, tasks, actions, and connection issues) rather than pure development.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with Datacap architecture, databases (SQL Server/Oracle), IIS, and basic scripting/configuration.
