About the program
The ICICI Bank Probationary Officer Program nurtures young professionals to pursue a career in banking, with a strong focus on learning, capability building, and cultural grounding. The program prepares participants to join the Bank as Relationship Managers in a sales role, guided by the Bank’s culture of “seva bhav”—serving customers with integrity, empathy, and responsibility. In this sales role, you will engage closely with customers to understand their needs, build long-term relationships, and responsibly offer appropriate banking solutions, in line with the Bank’s values of truth, trust, and transparency, and the principle of being fair to the customer and fair to the Bank. The role involves continuous customer interactions and may require travel within and around the assigned location or city.
The program includes 2 months of structured classroom training at a residential campus, the cost of which is borne by ICICI Bank. Upon successful completion of the program, you will be placed in Relationship Management (sales) roles at various locations across the country

Role of a Relationship Manager
After completing the Probationary Officer Program you would take up the role of a Relationship Manager. Please find below the role description of a Relationship Manager.
A Relationship Manager is a core anchor in taking our banking solutions and services to our valuable customers. This involves a 360-degree banking approach. The Relationship Managers should have an inclination to understand the customer needs and offer solutions in line with the needs. The core philosophy is being “Fair to the Customer and Fair to the Bank”. At ICICI Bank, our customer-centric relationship managers are responsible for acquiring new customer relationships and increasing the wallet share of existing customer relationships with a resolute focus on service quality and customer delight. Relationship Managers collaborate and work with different internal teams, thereby offering the best in class customer service. In line with our philosophy of taking the entire bank to the customers, our relationship managers work on the whole suite of offerings like saving solutions, loan products, overdraft solutions, Insta loans, investment solutions, care products, trade solutions, business loans, or wealth management solutions while upholding our fundamental value of being Fair to the Bank and Fair to the Customer.
