We employ over 170 people in Dublin within our Worldwide Logistic and Supply Chain Centre, we are looking for a Warehouse Operative to cover a Maternity Leave Contract
What you can expect from your role?
- Responsible for managing the following activities, Receiving, Picking, Packing, Shipping, Returns, Inventory control and general duties.
- An assembly line type fast past operation, processing single items one by one.
- Daily deadlines to be achieved.
- Verification of both quality and quantity, ensuring accuracy of 100% of all activities.
- Accurate use of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ensure all transactions are completed in a timely manner.
- Perform cycle counting to support 100% stock accuracy.
- Highlight all incidents of deviations from the agreed processes.
- Be aware of the importance of following “Good Distribution Practice”
- Fully compliant with security and operational requirements to support “Known Consignor” operation.
- Fully compliant with all Health & Safety requirements to ensure high standards are maintained at all times.
- Positive engagement with both Quality and continuous improvement programs and identify opportunities for improvements.
What do we expect from you?
- Previous experience in a fast-paced environment is essential.
- Previous experience in a high compliant operation is essential.
- Experience working with WMS system and RF Technology is an advantage.
- Experience in H&S, environmental procedures and Continuous improvement.
- Good communication skills.
- Good Distribution Practice knowledge and awareness.
