Now Hiring: Field Sales Account Executive – Charlotte, NC

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Hellmann solutions and service sales across all product lines, with a focus on Air Freight and Ocean Freight, within the assigned territory and customer base.
  • Proactively drive new business through strategic “hunter” sales activity, building relationships and effectively qualifying prospects to secure profitable opportunities.
  • Develop and grow a customer portfolio aligned with the capabilities and objectives of local Product and Operations leadership.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, ensuring all activities, opportunities, and updates are accurately maintained in the CRM system on a daily basis (required).
  • Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with customers and maintain consistent communication with clients and Hellmann Operations to ensure service excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide regular updates to management on market trends, customer activity, and business development opportunities.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum of 4–5 years of field sales experience in freight forwarding, or at least 2 years of operational experience within logistics.
  • Strong understanding of logistics processes, systems, and supply chain solutions.
  • Experience with CRM platforms preferred; proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong customer-focused mindset.
  • Proven ability to manage relationships, stay highly organized, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to travel within the assigned territory (50% or more); valid driver’s license required.
