Role Summary
The HR Business partner will work closely with the Global HR Director, overseeing the HR transactional responsibilities while act as a trusted Business Partner for key stakeholders across our expanding global network. You will leverage deep HR expertise to achieve operational excellence while playing an integral part in shaping our HR strategies and contributing to strategic projects that streamline our global HR process and enhance overall employee experience. The ideal candidate is tech and data-savvy, with a keen interest in exploring and leveraging new platforms/ tools to strengthen HR best practices and decision-making.
Core Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to the Hong Kong-based Global HR Director, you will be the go-to person for all HR matters that balance operational delivery with projects & initiatives exposure:
- Team Management - Directly manage and mentor junior HR team members, ensuring proper OKRs are set
- Business Partnering - Act as the primary HR point of contact for our teams across multiple locations, ensuring local nuances are respected within a global framework
- End-to-End Talent Acquisition - Manage the full recruitment life cycle—from sourcing talent, craftily negotiating offers and working with our admin team on executing seamless onboarding
- HR Transactional tasks deliveries - Oversee all-round HR transactional duties, including (but not limited to) payroll coordination, benefits administration, and compliance management across multiple jurisdictions
- HR related projects & initiatives - Challenge the status quo, work with the HR Director and the team to actively embrace and implement new ways of working; explore and integrate AI tools into HR workflows to enhance productivity and the employee journey
- HR Analytics - provide reports and insights that drive smarter business decisions and HR strategies
- Employee experience, culture, & engagement - Play an integral part in shaping talent strategies that enhance the employee experience, ensuring our culture remains vibrant and inclusive as we scale
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Experience: 5+ years of all-round HR experience, exposure within Digital Media, Media Agencies, or Marketing-related sectors would be a plus.
- Regional/ multi-market exposure: Proven track record in managing/ coordinating HR matters at the regional level
- Linguistic Proficiency: Fluency in both English and Mandarin (written and spoken) to communicate effectively across regional stakeholders and candidates.
- Education: Higher Diploma or above in HR Management, Business, or a related discipline.
Skills and Competencies
- MarTech Savvy: Basic understanding of digital marketing
- Regulatory Knowledge: Practical understanding of immigration rules, work permit and visa application processes for key markets (e.g. Singapore, UAE, etc.).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage candidates and influence internal stakeholders.
- Agility: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth and multicultural environment.
