International Technical Service Engineer Role Overview

We are seeking a high-caliber International Technical Service Engineer based in Istanbul to join our global support network. You will be responsible for the end-to-end technical lifecycle of our advanced 3D printing systems (SLS, SLM, DED, FDM, SBJ). Your mission is to ensure operational excellence at customer sites through expert installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting, directly contributing to customer satisfaction and global sales growth.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Field Operations: Perform on-site system installations, re-locations, fault recoveries, and preventive maintenance for a diverse portfolio of additive manufacturing systems.
  • Technical Support: Provide advanced remote and on-site troubleshooting to maximize system uptime and performance.
  • Training: Conduct professional operational and technical maintenance training for customers and create supporting educational materials.
  • Sales Integration: Support the pre-sales stages with technical demos and collaborate with the sales team for spare parts quoting and order tracking.
  • Global Coordination: Maintain rigorous communication with headquarters, submitting detailed service reports and field feedback in a timely manner.

Essential Education, Skills, and Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical-Electronics, Mechatronics, or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in technical field services (Experience in Additive Manufacturing is highly preferred).
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong "hands-on" skills in troubleshooting and repairing complex electromechanical and optical systems.
  • Languages: Excellent command of English is mandatory for international coordination.
  • The Chinese Advantage: Basic knowledge of Chinese (Mandarin) is a significant asset, facilitating direct technical communication with suppliers.
  • Software: Proficiency or familiarity with 3D modeling and slicing software.
  • Travel: High flexibility for domestic and international travel; must work well under pressure with a keen eye for detail.
