Qualifications
• A strong educational background in Fashion Design
• Currently leading as a Design Manager or bringing at least 10 years of hands-on experience as a Designer
• Deep understanding of the girl kids wear customer mindset, needs, and expectations
• Solid expertise in color, fabric, accessories, pattern making, and garment construction
• Confident English skills to follow and interpret international fashion and trend sources
Job Description
• Staying ahead of new, emerging, and evolving fashion trends
• Supporting teams in creating commercially strong collections by translating online customer insights into trend, product, communication, and assortment decisions, aligned with pricing strategies
• Identifying rising and fading trends and introducing new fashion concepts and silhouettes to the business
• Leveraging market and trend data to inspire design teams and contribute to strategic decision-making
• Leading the online design process in line with seasonal range planning and budget targets
• Ensuring every step of the design journey follows company procedures and buying calendars
• Safeguarding consistency and harmony across collections developed by different buyer groups
• Preventing duplication of similar trend-driven products across teams through proactive coordination and clear communication
• Collaborating closely with product teams to strengthen omnichannel alignment
• Curating and delivering phase-based seasonal trend presentations in sync with the buying calendar
• Actively contributing to key decision meetings including stock options, trading, range planning, sketch sign-off, sample sign-off, and graphic sign-off
• Reducing design-related risks and delays through strong ownership and attention to detail
• Coaching, mentoring, and inspiring designers to grow both creatively and professionally
