This is a part time position with the opportunity to work up to 24 hrs/ week.
Job Description
- Use commercial dishwashers to clean dishes, glasses, pots, pans, and utensils efficiently and scrub, rinse, and sanitize dishes to meet health and safety standards.
- Regularly clean the dishwashing area, including countertops, floors, sinks and trash bins.
- Properly dispose of food scraps, trash, and recycling materials according to restaurant policies on a daily basis Replenish cleaning supplies, such as dish soap, sanitizer, and gloves, as needed.
- Organize and stack clean dishes, utensils, and glassware in designated storage areas and assist in restocking vendors plates and utensils.
- Inspect washed items for cleanliness and report any issues with dishwashing equipment to the manager.
- Employee must use personal protective equipment, such as gloves and aprons, to ensure hygiene and safety
- At the end of shift ensure all dishes are washed, the dishwashing area is cleaned, and equipment is turned off and dispose of all garbage including cardboard, glass, biowaste and general trash.
- Make sure the dishwashing area is set up for the next shift, including stocking supplies and organizing cleaning materials.
