Robotics Automation Test Engineer

At Tezmaksan Robot Technologies, we are at the forefront of developing CubeBOX robotic automation systems, operating and evolving worldwide. These state-of-the-art systems comprise machine tending industrial robots, industrial PCs, and pneumatic drawer mechanisms. We are looking for a Robotics Automation Test Engineer/Technician to join our team and play a crucial role in testing the software that controls these systems. This software facilitates communication with various robot brands, enabling customized CNC machine tending scenarios. The core of our software is built on WPF, with underlying communication libraries in C# and C++.

Our Primary Expectations:

  • Robot Kinematics and Applications: Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in robot operation, kinematics, and robotic cell automation are paramount. While software knowledge is a plus, your expertise in how robots work is our priority.
  • Robot Simulation Environments: Proficiency in performing software tests within simulation software from various robot brands, including Fanuc, Kuka, and ABB (e.g., RobotStudio, KUKA.Sim, Fanuc ROBOGUIDE).
  • Software Testing Capability: Ability to test software across diverse scenarios, predominantly in virtual environments, and occasionally with real robots on-site. Familiarity with debugging in Visual Studio and basic software understanding is required.
  • Version Control and Documentation: Experience with version control systems like GitHub. Capability to prepare user manuals and other technical documentation.
  • English Communication: Advanced English proficiency is a must for written and verbal communication with international dealers and for preparing documentation.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Preferably a university degree in Mechatronics, Control Automation, Electric & Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in robotic automation systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
  • Eager to learn, dynamic, and growth-oriented.

Responsibilities:

  • Test the developed robot control software under various scenarios.
  • Execute test scenarios in robot simulation environments and, when necessary, with real robots.
  • Debug the software in Visual Studio to identify and report bugs.
  • Document test processes and log issues in the bug tracking system.
  • Assist in the preparation of user manuals and technical documentation.
  • Communicate with international dealers on technical matters.
