Compensation Data
The salary range for this position is $130,000-$150,000 and reflects factors such as years of experience, relevant expertise, and overall qualifications.
Job Summary
TUV Rheinland (TRNA) is a growing Cybersecurity Services Provider within North America. As a growing company, we are counting on candidates we hire today to become our future leaders.
The primary responsibility of the Operational Technology (OT) Security Consultant is to focus on assessing and documenting organizational and technical risk from gaps in compliance to relevant cybersecurity standards such as, IEC 62443 Series, EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), EN 18031 Radio Equipment Directive (RED), Machinery Directive and others. Focus on assessing client’s security programs, compliance with regulatory or standards for potential security issues and gaps and readiness for various cybersecurity certifications.
The senior consultant must have experience with OT security frameworks, experience with a variety of IT Cyber security disciplines would be considered a plus.
- Industry regulations including IEC 62443, NIST SP800 and other industry standards and regulations
We are looking for a knowledgeable individual who is comfortable in a client facing role to build productive, professional relationships with clients and possess the skills to potentially move into a leadership role in the future. The candidate must have time management skills, and a serious knack for finding solutions. This position will work hand in hand with the service and sales team to deliver quotes and solutions meeting clients’ needs.
Job Description
- Performing analysis of the architecture and infrastructure of Industrial Control Systems and/or Operational Technology (ICS/OT) in terms of cybersecurity posture
- Knowledge of operational impact analysis workshops and technical trade–off studies against SCADA, PLC and DCS architectures, and associated industrial communication protocols
- Assist Client Delivery and Sales team in post-sale opportunities by designing and recommending projects and services to the installed customer base.
- Design solutions to provide customers with best-in-class user experiences that meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Define and communicate clear expectations regarding deliverables, limitations, and performance of offerings.
- Through key stakeholder collaboration, assists in the documentation, communication, and development of the client’s vision and maps client environments to offerings.
- Reviews project scope and determines if changes and/or calibration is needed using effective communication with Client Delivery and Sales Teams and other internal teams to ensure project expectations are delivery timelines are met.
- Write technical scope of work for professional services team.
- Guides and educates clients to understand standard solutions via call, presentations or trainings.
- Assists with whiteboarding and planning of solutions.
- Keeps informed of best practices and industry standards.
Education
University Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
Experience & Further Qualifications
- Minimum of 10+ years’ work experience in IT/Operational Technology Security including:
- OT/ICS systems and OT/ICS security industry practices along with exposure to IIoT technologies.
- knowledge of one or more of the following: IEC 62443/ISA 99, ISO 27001, NIST SP 800-82
- Supporting PLC, DCS, SIS, HMI or SCADA systems.
