Description

We are seeking a Signalling Engineer to join our project team for the ANKARAY Project in Ankara, working on large-scale metro signalling systems.

This role offers the opportunity to take an active part in metro signalling applications, site coordination, design review, testing and commissioning activities, as well as interdisciplinary interface management.

Responsibilities

  • Support the installation, implementation, testing and coordination processes of metro signalling systems,,
  • Support the review of signalling system design documents, technical drawings and project deliverables,
  • Actively participate in site coordination and interface management activities with other project disciplines,
  • Coordinate the interfaces of signalling systems with Telecom, Civil Works, Track, Power, Catenary and PAKS / Platform Screen Door Systems,
  • Participate in testing and commissioning activities, including static and dynamic tests,
  • Monitor site progress and support the preparation of technical reports and project documentation,
  • Prepare and review as-built drawings, technical records and progress documentation,
  • Support logistics processes and warehouse entry-exit tracking for signalling equipment when required,
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, occupational health and safety, and quality standards,
  • Perform other technical and coordination tasks assigned by the Project Management Team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, or Control and Automation Engineering,
  • Minimum 3 years of signalling experience, preferably 5+ years of professional experience,
  • Experience in metro signalling projects,
  • Knowledge of installation, testing, commissioning and system integration processes of metro signalling systems,
  • Experience in design document review, technical documentation follow-up and evaluation of project requirements,
  • Experience in site coordination, installation planning and progress reporting,
  • Written and spoken English proficiency sufficient to follow technical documentation and communicate professionally in correspondence and meetings,
  • Chinese language skills in addition to English will be considered an advantage,
  • Residing in or willing to reside in Ankara,
  • Strong analytical thinking skills, detail-oriented and a good team player,
  • Valid Class B driving license and willingness to take part in active site works.
