Remote Web Designer – Entry-Level

This role involves designing a visually compelling one-page landing page for the 'Berlin Elite 1v1,' a U14 boys 1v1 basketball tournament. The project requires a clean, modern design that captures the urban, premium, and competitive spirit of youth basketball. The landing page will serve as the digital face of the event, targeting young basketball players from Germany, Poland, and Serbia. The design should incorporate thematic elements such as the Berlin TV Tower with a basketball replacing the sphere, and references to Mellow Park, including skatepark, court, graffiti, and concrete motifs. The final design will be delivered in Figma, ready for web development, and must effectively communicate event details, tournament structure, prizes, rules, participating countries, and include a registration form.

Deliverables

• Design a one-page landing page in Figma, optimized for desktop and mobile
• Create a hero section that visually represents the 1v1 basketball contest and event branding
• Integrate event details: date, time, location (Mellow Park, Berlin), and target audience (U14 boys)
• Develop sections for tournament explanation, prize highlights, official 1v1 rules, and countries represented
• Design a user-friendly registration form
• Incorporate urban and basketball-themed visual elements, including the Berlin TV Tower and Mellow Park references
• Ensure the design is clean, premium, and engaging for the target demographic

Requirements

• Proficiency in Figma and web design best practices
• Strong portfolio demonstrating experience with landing pages or sports/event-related design
• Ability to create visually engaging, youth-oriented, and urban-themed graphics
• Understanding of responsive design for both desktop and mobile
• Attention to detail and ability to follow a creative brief
• Availability for immediate start and timely delivery (project is urgent)
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience with sports or youth event branding is a plus
