What awaits you in this role?
We are looking for an Engineer - R&D who will join our team at Small Domestic Appliances R&D department.
- Taking an active role in R&D and project management for outsourced projects of Home & Personal Care- Small Domestic Appliances, in terms of technical research, system design, analysis, testing and verification.
- Supporting the project teams technically and working in close coordination with project leaders in related projects,
- Planning and conducting specific tests & setups, and prepare an outcome report with meaningful data analysis
- Working closely with related parties for new product and concept product development
- Researching and benchmarking innovative applications and developments on small domestic appliance market to create internal know-how.
- Researching scholar studies, patents & start-ups about alternative techs & trends and support implementing these ideas to small domestic appliances,
- Creating system prototypes for new innovative product ideation with related teams,
- Taking active role in cost improvement and quality improvement projects
- Working in a project, related with Master’s thesis.
The position is located in Çayırova, İstanbul.
How do we describe the perfect fit?
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, and having started a Master’s grade education, preferably related to mechanical design or thermodynamics
- Ambition to work in Laboratory, designing experiments, testing and creating system prototypes,
- Basic knowledge on production methodologies and engineering materials
- Basic knowledge in mechanical design & any 3D enginering CAD software (preferrably NX)
- Basic knowledge on thermal analysis principles and able to simulate a system and translate to meaningful outcomes,
- Having a result-oriented mindset with analytical thinking and problem solving attitude
- Expressing her/his ideas based on data analysis and research,
- Excellent verbal and written skills in English,
- Thinking broadly about business,
- Understanding needs of the market & customer,
- Listening different perspectives and showing flexibility,
- Building collaboration,
- Clear in communicating thoughts and ideas.
