  • Exciting opportunity to join Liquor and Gaming NSW, we're responsible for regulating liquor, wagering, gaming, and registered clubs in NSW.
  • This is a Clerk Grade 3/4 role with a salary range of $84,659 - $92,701 per annum plus superannuation
  • Ongoing field‑based role based in Sydney CBD and Parramatta, regularly working on-site and in the community. Night and weekend shifts may be required.

About Liquor & Gaming NSW

We are at the pointy end of industry supervision for the liquor, gaming, wagering, casino and registered club sectors in NSW. If you want a seat at the table, whether we’re reviewing the latest facial recognition technology; advising Government on gambling reform policy; developing initiatives to increase live music venues and festivals; or investigating unlawful liquor or gambling inducement practices, we want to talk to you.

About The Role

The Inspector supports, contributes to and directly undertakes a range of compliance-related activities, including inspections and investigations, across assigned areas of responsibility in order to support the achievement of regulatory objectives. At times, field‑based work such as conducting interviews and undertaking investigative enquiries will be required. While flexible work arrangements are supported, they will always be guided by operational priorities and requirements.

About You

We are looking for someone with a:

  • Willingness to learn compliance and regulation
  • Willingness and availability to meet the shift-work requirements of the role
  • Current Class C Driver Licence

Please note: Condition of employment is subject to satisfactorily meeting pre-employment and ongoing probity screening to meet the integrity standards set out in section 14 of the Gaming and Liquor Administration Act 2007.

The person occupying the role will be designated as a key official under section 16 of the Gaming and Liquor Administration Act 2007 and may be subject to restrictions, such as restrictions on attending certain premises.
